If you make it…

… you won’t feel guilty about procrastinating! lol.

With a show coming up on July 14th, I thought I really get busy making some more things for the table. I’ve been trying to diversify a bit. More choices…more sales. Hopefully.

Anyway here’s what I was working on last night and tonight. I ran out of some supplies today, but I can fix that tomorrow.

This is last’s night projects. The chains have yet to be added, but that’s the easy part. :)

Here is this afternoon’s projects. I’ll be making more of these. Once the show is over I’ll be making some of these for my online store, too.

A pleasant pheasant

So I’m getting a soda from my pantry cupboard. I stand up and I notice something moving across the street. Curious, I look more closely and there is a large bird pecking at the ground beside an old tree stump. I tried to make out what it was, but the eyes are not what they once were. I run in and get my camera (which has a zoom lens) and hope its still there when I get back to the door. It was.

To my surprise and great pleasure, it was a male ring-necked pheasant. I’ve never seen one of those before. I was very excited. The pictures have sun glare because the sun was ahead of me and I was taking the pictures through a glass door, but I still am pretty happy with how they came out.

I bet this is what the dogs are always carrying on about and looking in that direction!

Adorable birds

Ok there’s Angry Birds, now there’s adorable birds!

Bad, I know. lol. My hubby found this picture and I just had to save it and post it here.  I think this is going to be a header at some point. lol
