As I wander the internet I find some of the coolest stuff. I gathered a few of my favs together and want to show them to you. Some of them are crafty ideas I really like (and want to try) and some are just to make you laugh.  These are not my photos and I have no idea where I found them, but here they are. Click on the photos to see the bigger version of them.

This was done with that texture paint you can get in craft stores. I know Michael’s has it. It’s really thick and you use stencils. When you let it dry it gets very hard. You can stain it, paint it, gold/silver leaf it, or antique it. Doesn’t that look nice? Looks like it was part of the cabinets from the factory.

 

 

 

 

 

 

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this. I have horrible busted up cement stairs in the front of my house and have been trying to figure out what to do with them. We don’t use that door right now, but these would seriously cover a multitude of concrete sins. I don’t think those are violets, but I’m going to look into what else would do that and get some for my stairs. Aren’t those colors amazing, though?

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I think this is a really clever, cool idea. Can you imagine how pretty it would look with the sun streaming though it? You could even put the marbles in a pattern, like a butterfly or something. What a lovely place to sit and have a cuppa or do some knitting with the sun sending bright little rays of light onto your lap. I don’t have a fence, but by God, I’m gonna get one and put it SOMEplace. lol.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Ok, we can all relate to this right? LOL.

For myself, I find this ironically true. I’m FAR better on paper than I am in person. I had to smile when I read this.
