New Items I had at my show at Red Apple Farm

Heya all! Sorry I haven’t been as active lately. I had my big show at Red Apple Farms this past weekend and it went well. The weather was gorgeous and only a bit cold. For November in NW Mass though it was spectacular. The crowds were good and everyone was having a good time. Now I have a little breather before my last show of the year. I have enough stuff for that one, so I can give my self a little break. I made some new things for the last show and here is a couple pictures of those items. This little bell ornament was made for 12 baskets that were given to the musicians that volunteered their time to come and play throughout the day.

This is the first of my new items I would like to make. I love some of the crocheted jewelry and have decided to diversify a bit and combine both the fun of making jewelry with my love of knitting and crocheting. I hope to have a line of items that will include necklaces, wristlets, chokers and rings.

These are something totally different for me. A little while ago I posted about a large laundry hamper full of wooden cutouts I found at a yard sale. In that basket were 5 scarecrow patterns. I thought they would be cute for the show and here’s how they came out.

Charms and Buttons

The meat didn’t work out so well, but the rest of what I did came out cute. I found these little buttons at Michaels Arts and Crafts. They look more like charms to me, but they are actually buttons. Anyway, they have a whole rack of these with all different themes. I really think they’re cute. So I bought the sewing and the baking set.

I made a charm bracelet and earrings with them!

Then I tried something I found on a crafting blog. I didn’t actually get it quite right, but I’ll work on it some more. I think they’re adorable and I love how they look on.

Yes, I had a fun day today. :)

Newly Created items for the Show on Saturday

Since you have been hearing about the show we’re doing Saturday, I thought I would show you a few of the newer items I’ve been working on this week.

I have some more things to work on today even though I’m getting a really late start. (as usual).

If you make it…

… you won’t feel guilty about procrastinating! lol.

With a show coming up on July 14th, I thought I really get busy making some more things for the table. I’ve been trying to diversify a bit. More choices…more sales. Hopefully.

Anyway here’s what I was working on last night and tonight. I ran out of some supplies today, but I can fix that tomorrow.

This is last’s night projects. The chains have yet to be added, but that’s the easy part. :)

Here is this afternoon’s projects. I’ll be making more of these. Once the show is over I’ll be making some of these for my online store, too.

Crochet Wire Wrapped Experiments

I’ve been wanting to try this and today seemed like a good day. :)

Not sure how I feel about the necklace with the three ribbons or the charms on it. I think those will come off. What do you guys think? The necklace piece is the same size as the bracelet so I could just go that way, but I wanted to try this first.

The next one is a bracelet. I do like how that turned out. Still debating if I like it enough to make more of them. Maybe a few and see if they sell at the store in town. ::ponders::

Well, let me know what you guys think. Ya’ll are really creative and I know you’ll give me some ideas or constructive criticisms. Opinions Wanted!!  :)

Foam Necklaces

As promised…

Here are the necklaces I made out of various shapes of foam. I bought a huge bag of all different shapes and sizes at a yard sale and have been thinking about what I could do with them. This is what I did. ;) The necklace parts are leather cord in different colors with sliding knots so they can fit any size. I made them a little smaller than usual since I figure it will be mostly bought for little girls.
