Yep, been at it again. Busy, busy. First, I had to take a few pictures in my yard. I haven’t done that as much this year as I usually do. That’s a my bad. Here are a couple from today though.
These are Peonies. They are Fancy Double Peony. I don’t recall the actual variant name, but I love these.
The next two are daisies. I’m enjoying them for a few days before I rip their little heads off to infuse them in olive oil. 🙂 I made a daisy salve that is great for bumps and bruises.
Those are beautiful peonies! We can’t grow them here and I miss them. Thanks for posting them. 🙂
Very welcome!
Wow! I’ve never seen double peonies! And such a pretty pink color! What do you do with the oil you put the daisies in?
I make a daisy salve for bumps, bruises, sore muscles and you can even use it as a lip balm,
Cuticle cream or moisturizer. It’s been used in England for centuries rather than arnica which they didn’t have. Daisies are anti-inflammatory. I don’t use it on open wounds, though. I ha e other salve for those.
That is really interesting! I didn’t know that!
Very pretty!
